A round-up of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur in the media this Tuesday evening.
Milton Keynes Dons manager Karl Robinson has been speaking to the London Evening Standard about Dele Alli, the midfielder who Tottenham agreed to pay £5 million in January, but will join up with the squad at White Hart Lane in the summer.
He said: “He wants to know what makes Dele tick and what he needs to do. He has seen him play and Tottenham are speaking to us on a constant basis regarding his development. Alli will not lose his head now that he is a Tottenham player. No chance.”
Hugo Lloris has been talking to the Tottenham website about the challenges ahead for Spurs as they continue to compete on three fronts this season, with the Europa League resuming at White Hart Lane on Thursday when they take on Fiorentina.
The Frenchman thinks the side is still improving, saying: “We feel fit, we feel strong mentally and we now enter the most important period of the season, so we are ready to compete.
“We are still alive in three competitions, we are focused on trying to go as far as possible in the Premier League, the Europa League and of course the Capital One Cup Final, which will be a great moment.”
