Manchester United may have made it through to the next round of the FA Cup, but it doesn't mean it was a good night for all of the individuals involved with the club at Deepdale last night.
With the Red Devils trailing 1-0, manager Louis van Gaal decided to make a change by bringing Ashley Young on for Radamel Falcao, much to the apparent bemusement of the Colombian.
Despite the reputation that proceeds him of being one of the finest goalscorers in world football, having been particularly prolific at Porto and Atletico Madrid, Falcao has struggled to find the net with such regularity since his move to Old Trafford on loan from Monaco in the summer, having registered just the four goals so far this season.
Last night's display seemed to sum up his season as he failed to make the kind of impact that he and the fans would have hoped he would.
United fans on Twitter don't seem to be the biggest supporters of the Colombian right now, with some suggesting that his loan move should not be made permanent in the summer, with some even calling for it to be terminated.
Here is what a few of them had to say:
As much as I wanted Falcao to do well as I've always been huge fan. He has flopped and needs to leave end of season. Past his best.— Herrerata (@Mark_Champ19ns) February 17, 2015
LvG will decide if Falcao stays, tbh I reckon £40m would be better spent on a younger player whatever the position, £40m too much for 29yro— DaveEllis (@DaveEllis6) February 17, 2015
How long more must we wait for the 'real' Falcao to show himself. I for one could not wait no more— Ronaldoh (@Cristianoh_) February 17, 2015
