Confirmed: Paris Saint-Germain v Chelsea line-ups

Here are the teams PSG and Chelsea have selected for the Champions League clash this evening.

Paris Saint-Germain are under heavy pressure heading into the game against Chelsea this evening because they’re playing at home. Their manager Laurent Blanc will be keen for the side to get their noses in front ahead of the return leg in London, which will be a difficult game for the French giants. PSG are chasing the lead in Ligue 1 and Chelsea will be determined to take advantage of their defensive record this season, which has seen the French side concede more league goals than Lille in mid-table. However, PSG do have an experienced match winner in the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

For Chelsea, this is a real chance to stamp their tactical authority on the tie. Jose Mourinho is very experienced in games where his teams have to play in a difficult atmosphere, defend deep and try to grind out a positive score line. Mourinho will want his team to get the tie back to Stamford Bridge still in with a chance of progressing to the next round. It’s important Chelsea retain their tactical and mental discipline throughout the match.
