Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has told the Daily Mail that he feels the first 15-20 minutes are going to be important in the game against PSG.

The Blues take on the French side this evening in the Champions League looking to create an advantage to take back to Stamford Bridge for the second game between the teams.

“You need to try to keep your focus, try to be mentally strong on what you're doing. Sometimes it’s difficult, especially in the first 15 or 20 minutes,” said the defender.

He cites the noise from the PSG crowd as the thing his side need to be most wary of.

Jose Mourinho has told the Independent he feels PSG are fortunate given their unique position in French football.

Mourinho claims PSG know they are going to be champions, questioning the fight and resistance of teams in France’s top flight.

“They know they are going to be champions. They know the other teams will not resist,” said Mourinho.

Mourinho claims PSG are getting routinely used to success in the French game.

Jose Mourinho has been quoted by FourFourTwo suggesting Chelsea are a different team with Cesc Fabregas in the side.

The Spaniard’s return to the Blues’ starting line-up has been delayed because the midfielder is suffering through illness.

“Fabregas was ill - We are a different team with Fabregas, I'm not saying better or worse, I'm saying different,” said Mourinho.

Chelsea take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League as they look to progress to the next round.
