Commons a doubt
The Daily Mail believes that Kris Commons is unlikely to play in the first leg of Celtic's tie against Inter Milan, as he has lost his race to be fit.
Commons has picked up a hamstring injury and has not returned to full training yet, making his inclusion on Thursday night unlikely.
Snodgrass on Griffiths
Robert Snodgrass has urged Ronny Deila to select Leigh Griffiths to start in Celtic's tie with Inter Milan on Thursday.
Snodgrass played with Griffiths earlier in the striker's career and he feels that the 24-year-old is a unique commodity in the Bhoys' squad.
"You need to start him as he's on fire just now," he told the Daily Mail. "I've watched him and he's working hard for the team.
"(Anthony) Stokes, Guidetti and (Kris) Commons like the ball to come to feet. They are more like number 10s. Leigh is the only one that can stretch a defence and push them back against Inter."
Santon on Vuckic
Inter Milan defender Davide Santon says he will try and get an insight into Celtic's game from on-loan Rangers star Haris Vuckic.
Santon and Vuckic were teammates at Newcastle United earlier in their careers and the Italian defender is clearly looking to take advantage of his contacts to gain some tips on what Scottish football is like.
"I have already spoken to Haris since he moved to Glasgow, but I will give him a call again this week," he said to the Glasgow Evening Times. "I haven't talked to him about Celtic yet, but I will ask him some questions in the next couple of days."
