West Ham United are said to be discussing a potential move for a Brazilian with plenty of goals and assists to his name.
The 33-year-old Brazilian previously played for Al Gharafa but having recently cancelled his contract the left winger could now be heading to Upton Park.
The report claims Nene has been speaking to clubs across Europe but that he could sign for West Ham if terms are agreed.
The player previously turned out for Paris Saint-Germain – where he scored 48 goals in 112 games – and AS Monaco – where he netted 20 times in 70 appearances.
He has also represented Celta Vigo, Espanyol and Mallorca among others but his most successful stint thus far has been in France.
West Ham are looking for some positive news following their FA Cup fifth round defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The Hammers lost 4-0 and Nene would be a welcome addition to the side when you consider he has 107 goals and 77 assists in his club career to date.
