Manchester City’s January signing Wilfried Bony has finally been photographed looking round the club, following his return from international duty.
The striker signed for a reported £25million from Swansea City, but his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations for the Ivory Coast means he has had to wait to meet his new teammates and start training in Manchester.
That day has now come, with Bony photographed – in pictures later posted on City’s official Twitter account – enjoying a look around the training complex before kitting himself out ahead of his first training session.
Bony scored 35 goals for Swansea and he has a total of 127 goals in 230 club appearances.
His job now is to first fight his way into City’s starting line-up and then attempt to fire them as close to current league leaders Chelsea as possible.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men will not have given up on defending their title, but with games running out so are their chances of doing just that.
