Inter Milan warmed up for Thursday's Europa League clash against Celtic with a 4-1 thumping of Atalanta on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Xherdan Shaqiri, a Fredy Guarin brace and Rodrigo Palacio helped Roberto Mancini's side claim all three points ahead of a huge battle at Celtic Park this week.
The Italian giants will be favourites, but their patchy form this term will give the Hoops hope of springing an upset in this two-legged tie.
Goalscorer Palacio has now hit three goals and three assists in Serie A this season, but has played just 110 minutes of Europa League action.
Nevertheless, Palacio told the Inter Milan official website that, after a big victory over Atalanta, he's looking forward to a clash against Celtic - which he knows will be 'difficult'.
"We’ve won on a tough ground today, where very few teams manage to get the three points. It’s an important win and will give us a lot of confidence. We know that all matches are difficult. We go to Glasgow now and then we’ll focus on Cagliari," said Palacio.
The 33-year-old Argentine hit 17 goals and seven assists last season, so the former Boca Juniors man still has plenty of ability - and Ronny Deila's men must guard against him on Thursday if he plays.
Palacio's pace isn't as much of a threat given his age now, but he still has good movement, meaning Celtic bust be aware of his threat this week and in the return leg at the San Siro later this month.
