Celtic in contract talks
Celtic are in talks with Craig Gordon over a new deal, after his brilliant start to life at Parkhead since arriving this summer.
Gordon has been one of the Bhoys' standout performers so far this season and, even though he has 18 months remaining on his current contract, Deila is looking to tie him down for the longer-term already.
"We are talking with him all of the time. So, we have good control," Deila said to the Glasgow Evening Times. "Craig is a goalkeeper we want to have here for the rest of his career."
Inter want Rangers' help
Inter Milan are set to train at Murray Park ahead of their Europa League match against Celtic this week.
Inter have asked for Rangers' help as they look to beat the Bhoys and their manager, Roberto Mancini, confirmed that training at the Light Blues' home was an option.
"Yes, training at Rangers is an option," he said to the Glasgow Evening Times. "We will decide on Thursday morning."
Johansen on Inter tie
Stefan Johansen says that Celtic must be looking to pick up a victory against Inter Milan on Thursday night.
The Bhoys are set to take on Inter in front of a raucous crowd at Parkhead and Johansen wants them to make home advantage count.
"The tie is over two legs, so you never know what it needs, but we will be trying to win the game at home in front of our own fans," he said to the Daily Mail.
"Every team knows what Celtic Park is a difficult place to come."
