A former Inter Milan captain has heaped praise on Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and the team ethic he instils in each and every squad of players he works with.
Javier Zanetti won two Serie A titles, a Coppa Italia and a Champions League title during the Portuguese's stay at the San Siro with the two still firm friends since his departure.
Mourinho looks to be closing in on another Premier League title with Chelsea this season – potentially his third with the Blues – and his former charge appears to understand one of the key facets of his success as a manager.
Speaking in an interview with BEIN Sports which was republished on the website www.fcinter1908.it and translated, Zanetti had only kind words for the ex-Inter boss.
"He [Mourinho] always does everything according to the collective,” he explained during the interview.
Zanetti went on to outline his all-time XI, which featured two former Premier League stars in ex-Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira and his Manchester United rival and Old Trafford legend Ryan Giggs.
Giggs was linked with a move to the San Siro during his peak years but ultimately opted to remain with the Red Devils for the duration of his career.
Chelsea are taking on Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16 of the Champions League this week with the Special One aiming for a repeat of the quarter-final triumph Chelsea managed over the Parisiens in the same competition last term.
