Watford fans react on Twitter to Almen Abdi's performance v Bolton

The Hornets midfielder scored a sensational goal against the Trotters and was once again instrumental in midfield.

What a game, what a win - and what a position Watford find themselves in in the Championship table.

Just three points off league-leaders Bournemouth, Watford are a side in form after beating Bolton Wanderers 4-3 on Saturday afternoon.

There were goals and drama galore as Slavisa Jokanovic's men left Bolton with the narrow win and Watford fans can dare to dream while in fifth place.

Hornets players, meanwhile, were naturally delighted on Twitter after the game, with Troy Deeney, Heurelho Gomes and Daniel Pudil among those to take to social media in celebration.

It was another star supporters showered praise on after the Bolton win, however, a midfielder many consider a class above even the Championship as a whole.

Indeed, Almen Abdi delivered another terrific performance for Watford at the Reebok, while he once again netted a superb strike from distance.

The 28-year-old's goal was his seventh of the season and, as many have commented, could run a goal of the season competition all by himself.

Next up for Watford are Norwich City, meaning another promising clash could be in store. For now, however, the Hornets can bask in a dramatic win over Bolton - and another classy display from midfielder Abdi!
