The Brazilian youngster scored the winner in the Bundesliga tie.
Chelsea continued their trend of sending top young talent out on loan to Europe this summer. One country in particular that has been targeted as a destination is Germany, with Thorgan Hazard, Tomas Kalas and Oriol Romeu all joining Bundesliga sides in the summer.
Another Chelsea youngster who made the way to Germany was Brazilian Lucas Piazon.
The young talent had a difficult 2014, struggling for form and losing his place at previous loan club Vitesse Arnhem but before that he was in great shape - and registered impressive figures for the Dutch club last term, scoring 11 goals in 29 games.
This season he is at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he has struggled so far.
He has not been a regular at the club this season, although when he has played he has looked impressive. Yesterday he scored the winning goal after coming on as a substitute against Schalke 04.
He came on at half-time in the game, scoring in the 64th minute to help close the gap between Frankfurt and Schalke in 9th and 4th place respectively.
It was his second goal in the Bundesliga this season and he will be hoping it is the start of a run of first team football at the Commerzbank Arena.
