The Romanian striker is still waiting to score his first goal for the club, but has had his moments.
The Owls are the lowest scoring team in the division, finding the back of the net just 28 times in 31 league games as a team this season.
In January they made a couple of moves to bring in goals. They snapped up Will Keane from Manchester United but he picked up a knee injury yesterday and his season now looks in jeopardy.
The likes of Atdhe Nuhiu and Stevie May have simply not been prolific enough for the club this season, who have not won a game in their last six outings, since a 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest on the 10th January.
One other player they snapped up recently, who they hope will bring goals with him, is Romanian striker Sergiu Bus. The 22-year-old arrived from Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia on Transfer Deadline day. He had scored 10 goals in 19 Bulgarian league appearances this season, so the hope is he will be able to perform on a similar level for Sheffield Wednesday.
So far, from his two games, the net has been elusive - but most Wednesday fans are pleased with what they are seeing from the Romanian. Now all they want him to do is make the net ripple.
Here is some reaction from Twitter to Bus' performance...
@SergiuBus Really unlucky not to win today! That header was an absolute corker! Shame it diddent go into the back of the net. Keep it up!— Jack Duty (@jackowls15) February 14, 2015
