Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has been getting used to his new surroundings ahead of the club’s FA Cup fifth round tie against Leicester City this afternoon.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss was photographed as he looked around his new club, posing for pictures that were later posted on Villa’s official Twitter account.
Sherwood has replaced Paul Lambert at the club, with the FA Cup a welcome distraction from Villa’s Premier League struggles.
Prolonging Villa’s cup run will be first on Sherwood’s agenda but he will then move on to the more important task of guiding his side away from the relegation zone.
Villa are currently 18th in the table, with 22 points from 25 matches, but despite their predicament they are only in the drop zone on goal-difference and the first thing Sherwood is likely to do is attempt to get the club’s attack-minded players firing again.
Goals are what will save Villa this season, and it is time those tasked with scoring and creating them do just that.
