It was a game of several memorable moments, many of which were aught under the flashbulbs at The Hawthorns.
Brown Ideye scored twice in the game. He has been excellent recently despite his earlier problems under Alan Irvine but Tony Pulis has him playing to his strengths. He showed off his acrobatic ability with a sensational celebration during the tie, literally head over heels to have scored in the FA Cup.
The other two goals came from Saido Berahino and James Morrison. Their celebrations may have not had the extravagance of Ideye's but, nonetheless, were noted. Especially for Berahino, he has a history of not bothering in the FA Cup.
There was also a couple of controversial moments in the game. Firstly, former Baggie Morgan Almafitano getting sent off. He spent last season on loan at West Brom, this year he is at West Ham. However it would seem he and Chris Brunt were never best mates in the Midlands. He shoved the West Brom star in the face, getting himself sent off in the process.
But overall the pictures from the game tell a simple story, West Brom were simply to good for West Ham on the day.
