Liverpool defender Jose Enrique revealed to supporters on Instagram that he was following the Reds’ 2-1 FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace on TV.
The Spanish international has barely featured this season, making just two Premier League starts with another two appearances coming from the substitutes’ bench.
He last appeared during the Reds’ 2-0 win over Aston Villa four weeks ago, and a lack of fitness meant he once again sat out his side’s clash this weekend as they took on Palace in the FA Cup.
However, to his credit, Enrique has not sulked or become downbeat over his situation as he took to Instagram in order to show his support for his teammates.
Despite the South Londoners taking a 1-0 lead through striker Fraizer Campbell, the Merseysiders fought back as second-half strikes from Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana completed a remarkable turnaround
It was no more than the Anfield outfit deserved, prompting the former Newcastle man to write: “Great game by the team. Playing really good at the moment and the most important thing winning the games.”

The victory was Brendan Rodgers’ side’s fourth in their previous five games in all competitions, and helps extend a run of just one defeat – a 1-0 loss at Chelsea – in their last 16 games.
With Manchester City and Chelsea already knocked out of the competition, the Anfield outfit will fancy their chances of at least reaching the semi-final and booking a trip to Wembley.
