Statistic: Lionel Messi has scored in last nine Barcelona home games

The Argentina international will look to hit the back of the net in his tenth consecutive Blaugrana game at Camp Nou this weekend.

Lionel Messi is preparing to play his 300th La Liga game for Barcelona on Sunday, as the Camp Nou side host Levante.

The Argentina international has been in unstoppable form since the turn of the year and has the chance to extend a personal record in tomorrow’s fixture.

As can be seen below, Messi has scored in his last nine home games for Barcelona, his longest run of consecutive strikes at club level throughout his career.

These goals have come against Villarreal twice, Atletico Madrid twice, Elche, Cordoba, Paris Saint-Germain, Espanyol and Sevilla, with the South American netting 14 goals in the last nine home games.

Messi has scored nine La Liga goals and created five assists in 2015, over double the amount of any other player in the Spanish top flight.

With the four-times Ballon d’Or winner clicking into top gear, Barcelona look like one of the frontrunners to win silverware both domestically and on the continent this season.
