Kane has scored 23 goals in all competitions this season for Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur have certainly been one of the most exciting teams to watch in the Premier League this season. Mauricio Pochettino has them playing a high tempo game with a team packed full of young players. Those young players include plenty from the Tottenham academy. The likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Danny Rose and Andros Townsend are all regulars at Spurs.
As is Harry Kane. The 21-year-old has been banging in goals for the club this season. His recent strike against Liverpool took him to 23 in all competitions for the season. Considering he started the campaign as third-choice striker at Spurs, that is a sensational turnaround.
He has now been rewarded for his performances by winning the Premier League Player of the Month award for January, nearly two weeks into February (explain that?).
He celebrated the award on Twitter and was quickly congratulated by another Tottenham graduate. Most had written off Ryan Mason's Spurs career but he has become a pivotal member of the Tottenham first-team. Today, he took to Twitter to congratulate Kane on his latest accolade.
Now the pair will be hoping to drive Tottenham toward European glory, and the duo will also be hoping for international recognition.
