Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew will be looking for his team to go one better than the draw they managed last night against Newcastle United.
It won’t be easy considering their opponents in the FA Cup are Liverpool, but Palace showed with their home performance against Tottenham Hotspur that they are capable of doing the business at home against the biggest teams.
Palace’s form heading into this game has been superb; the defeat against Everton is the only match they have lost since Boxing Day.
Liverpool will obviously be on a high considering their mid-week win against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
It would have been encouraging for Brendan Rodgers to see Mario Balotelli come off of the bench and get a goal, as well as Daniel Sturridge making it through the game unscathed.
This is a chance for him to make one or two changes to his starting line-up to keep players fresh ahead of the return of the Europa League next week, which represents a way for the Reds to get back into the Champions League.
Here are the possible sides that each boss might go with.
Crystal Palace: Speroni, Ward, Hangeland, Delaney, Kelly, Bolasie, McArthur, Ledley, Zaha, Puncheon, Chamakh
Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Markovic, Henderson, Allen, Coutinho, Lallana, Sturridge
