Celtic new boy Gary Mackay-Steven was joined on Twitter by Jason Denayer and John Guidetti after the Bhoys' 3-0 win over Partick Thistle last night.
It took just 36 seconds for Gary Mackay-Steven to get off the mark for Celtic and he was understandably delighted to have made such an impact on his debut for the Scottish champions.
Mackay-Steven was brought in by Celtic from Dundee United on deadline day and it seems that he has wasted no time settling in to his new surroundings.
The 24-year-old finished neatly in the opening stages of the Bhoys match with Partick Thistle and the goal set them on their way to a convincing 3-0 victory.
It was the perfect start for the new arrival and he took to Twitter afterwards to express his gratitude for the travelling fans' vocal support.
Delighted to finally make my debut. The boys were different class and what a support from the fans— Gary Mackay-Steven (@Gary__11) February 11, 2015
The win helped Celtic claim a commanding lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership and they will be looking to protect that for the remainder of the campaign.
John Guidetti and Jason Denayer were also quick to log in to social media after the full time whistle went.
Denayer hailed the performance of Mackay-Steven and he had time to mention Stuart Armstrong, who also made his debut during the contest.
Guidetti, meanwhile, was keen to focus on the progress that the side have made in recent times and he praised Stefan Johansen for getting on the scoresheet.
