Leeds United secured a solid 2-0 win against Reading last night.
Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn will be delighted with the way his team reacted to losing against Brentford last weekend.
Leeds played well to secure a 2-0 win over Reading last night thanks to goals from Luke Murphy and Sam Byram. Steve Morison also went close with an effort, which cracked off the post in the first half.
Murphy got the first goal for Leeds with a long range effort, which definitely isn’t the purest strike of a football he would have ever produced, but it was good enough and found the back of the net
Credit has to go to striker Steve Morison who held his nerve for the second goal, playing a good ball to the far post for Byram to nod in after he’d seen an initial effort saved by the Reading goalkeeper.
The job for Leeds is now cashing in and making the most of the victory when the side takes on Millwall this weekend, which represents another chance to gain three points and move up the table.
Watch the efforts below, with the goals at 28 seconds and just after one minute in.
