Dame N'Doye netted on his first Hull City game at the KC Stadium.
Dame N'Doye enjoyed a dream home debut to lift Hull out of the relegation zone with a win over a woeful Aston Villa.
The 29-year-old scored the second goal to seal a 2-0 win, having earlier set up a goal for fellow striker Nikica Jelavic.
The victory takes Hull up to 15th position, with Villa now occupying their previous spot in the relegation zone.
N'Doye, a deadline day signing from Lokomotiv Moscow, was lively throughout, attempting four shots at goal and landing three on target.
He was taken off in the 86th minute to a standing ovation, having helped Hull to just their third Premier League home victory of the season.
His performance will breathe life into the squad, which has struggled this season especially at the KC Stadium, netting only 10 goals in 11 games there prior to last night.
He was handed the man of the match award for his display, and fans will hope he can replicate the same with a winnable looking contest against QPR in their next Premier League game.
The 29-year-old's debut had supporters buzzing, here is a look at what they had to say via Twitter...
N'Doye's reminded me of Hernandez's debut against West Ham. Full of running and held up the ball well. Hope it continues #HCAFC— Gavin Smith (@smythles7) February 11, 2015
Suffice to say, a most enjoyable evening at The KC. Thoroughly deserved 3pts, atmos' more like it should be & N'Doye looks the boy! #hcafc— Richard Lusmore (@MisterSlush) February 11, 2015
Vital win for City tonight. So stoked for N'Doye getting an assist & goal on his debut. Hoping he & Jela can form a partnership! #hcafc— Ed Taylor (@Ed_NT) February 11, 2015
Biggest win of the season that. Great response to the Newcastle debacle. Fantastic home debut for N'Doye. Get in City! #hcafc— James King (@JamesEdwinKing) February 10, 2015
Villa were dire but we played really well at times and defended well. Great debut from N'Doye. Looks like a bargain for £2.2m! #hcafc— Chris Wilson (@willo1904) February 10, 2015
Dame N'doye proving how he's got all the attributes to be a hit in the Premier League. Magnificent despite generally average service #hcafc— Sam Welsh (@samHCAFCwelsh) February 10, 2015
