20th Century Fox takes Agent 47 to the movies again this year.
The movie is based on the Hitman video game series, and revolves around a genetically engineered assassin known only by the number '47' on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck.
Directed by Aleksander Bach, produced by Charles Gordon (Waterworld) and Alex Young (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), the movie will see Agent 47 team up with a woman to help find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry.
Hitman: Agent 47 is due to hit cinemas on 28th August 2015. Check out the new trailer, complete with odd rendition of Hendrix's Voodoo Child, below.
If you want my opinion on the trailer, and maybe you don't, but I'll give it to you anyway, I'm not overly keen. I will wait to go and see it in the cinema before giving it both barrells, if it deserves them of course, but my memories of playing the Hitman games weren't centered around big Michael Bay explosions and slo-mo camera shots. Maybe I'm too much of a purist. But, like I said, let's wait until it hits cinemas, it could actually be good...
