Confirmed: Man Utd v Burnley lineups

Here are the teams as Manchester United host Burnley in the Premier League.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will be hoping there is no talk about long balls after his side’s game against Burnley, with United looking to go one better than the draw they managed against West Ham last weekend. Make what you will of the way van Gaal’s team played during that game, but they found a way to get a result and made the most of a chance in the closing moments to prevent a defeat. The boss is likely to want to see a freer flowing and dominant performance in attack this evening.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche will head into this game hoping that his team can defend their position if they are somehow able to get their noses in front. The way they imploded in the game against West Brom was disappointing, especially considering the importance of points for the side at the other end of the Premier League table. Burnley will climb out of the bottom three if they pull off an upset because Aston Villa and Leicester City both played last night and both lost their matches.
