Mario Balotelli, Jordon Ibe, Simon Mignolet, Mamadou Sakho, Alberto Moreno, Daniel Sturridge and Jose Enrique all took to Twitter to react to the 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Liverpool squad was understandably active on Twitter on Tuesday night after a 3-2 home win over Tottenham Hotspur lifted them to within three points of a Champions League spot.
Lazar Markovic gave the hosts the lead on 15 minutes with a low effort from just inside the area, before Harry Kane levelled things up 10 minutes later with his fifth goal in three games.
Captain Steven Gerrard restored the home side’s advantage from the penalty spot after Daniel Sturridge was brought down by Danny Rose after the break, but Mousa Dembele pegged them back again on the hour to set up a dramatic finish.
It was then left to substitute Mario Balotelli to prove the unlikely hero, with the Italian popping up with seven minutes remaining to open his Premier League account for the Reds and seal all three points.
Unsurprisingly, the goal hero was straight on social media after the match to express his delight at his contribution, with starters Simon Mignolet, Mamadou Sakho, Alberto Moreno, Jordon Ibe, Daniel Sturridge and the little-used Jose Enrique all joining him in reacting to what was a statement-making win in the absence of both Lucas Leiva and Raheem Sterling.
