Villa travel to Hull looking to react after defeats at the hands of Arsenal and Chelsea and Sinclair feels he could make a difference during the game.
“We're aiming to go there and get a result. That's what we're striving for,” said Sinclair.
“Personally I've scored my first goals at previous clubs against Hull so you could say I enjoy playing against them.”
Villa will fancy their chances of getting a result because they’re not playing one of the Premier League’s giants.
However, Hull will present a very different challenge to what they have just experienced and will be difficult to play against because they’ll be on a high after an impressive point against Manchester City.
Sinclair’s confidence against Hull could work well for him and is a reason he should potentially start the match.
If a player goes into a game feeling mentally more confident, he can start that match with a spring in his step.
Sinclair definitely falls into that category and it will be interesting to see whether he gets longer than the 15 minutes he received against Chelsea.
Hopefully for Villa’s sake, Sinclair can produce the good if he’s given the chance to perform.
