Adam Matthews says he would like to see Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley back at Celtic.
Celtic defender Adam Matthews has told Magners' official Twitter account that if he could bring any player back to Parkhead it would be Joe Ledley.
Matthews had a good relationship on and off the pitch with Ledley during the central midfielder's time at the club and feels that he could have offered a lot to the Bhoys this campaign.
Ledley left Celtic at the start of 2014 to join Premier League side Crystal Palace and Matthews clearly feels that he hasn't been replaced by the side yet.
Adam Matthews: Joe Ledley. He’s a great mate & player. I'd be delighted if he came back. We get on well & he’s helped me a lot #AskMatthews

Ledley's energy and technical ability made him a pivotal figure during his four-year stay with the Scottish champions and it has also seen him impress at Selhurst Park.
The Wales international has made 26 appearances for Palace already this season and looks set to play a pivotal role for Alan Pardew's men as they seek to climb the table.
During the question and answer session, Matthews also revealed what his favourite moment with the club has been so far and commented on Celtic's two new arrivals - Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong.
Adam Matthews: Beating Barca, don’t think anyone expected it with Broonie and Hoops being out... #AskMatthews
