Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has told the Croydon Advertiser what he sees as a key benefit in the current team.
Palace have enjoyed a mini-resurgence since Alan Pardew was named as manager with three victories in the team’s last four games.
That creates obvious benefits for the team which Ledley is positive about looking forward to the next few weeks.
“We’re on a good run but we just need to keep coming in every single day and keep that determination going,” said Ledley.
“That’s what we’ve got in this squad everyone works so hard for each other.”
Palace will need all of that spirit and mentality over the next three games.
Palace face Pardew’s old team Newcastle on Wednesday before matches against Liverpool and Arsenal, which could dictate how much pressure they’re under heading into March.
They have home advantage in all three games and they need to make the most of that before three away games in four from the end of February moving into March.
Pardew will simply want results to back up all of the hard work being produced by the team on the training pitch.
There’s a real chance for the team to get some momentum and confidence and consolidate in the Premier League table, which could make the next couple of months far more comfortable than may have otherwise been the case.
