Chelsea will be looking to build on their victory over Aston Villa at the weekend when they take on Everton at home in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The Blues returned to winning ways on Saturday when they got the better of the Villans 2-1 at Villa Park.

That win saw Chelsea increase their lead over second-placed and defending English champions Manchester City to seven points.

Chelsea are in good form at the moment and have a truly brilliant record at Stamford Bridge, where they have picked up 31 points from 11 matches so far this season.

Meanwhile, Everton have started to push up the Premier League table and now look to be out of relegation worries.

Roberto Martinez’s side will head into Wednesday’s encounter on the back of a goalless draw with Liverpool at Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby.

There have been signs of improvements from Everton, who will be keen on collecting at least a point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
