Yorkshire latest: Redfearn admits Leeds looking at one or two players

We bring you the latest news from Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town.

Redfearn comments on transfer plans

Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn confirmed at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Reading game that he’s still looking for loan signings.

Leeds added well to their squad during the January transfer window, with Sol Bamba settling into the first team well.

The boss has confirmed that he’s looking to add players in wide positions to improve his side’s goalscoring threat in big games.

“It's common knowledge that we're looking at one or two wide players. We need to start scoring as well,” said the boss.

Keane targets more Wednesday goals

Sheffield United’s Will Keane is targeting more goals at the club after scoring in the draw against Cardiff over the weekend.

The Manchester United owned loanee is now looking to build on his effort in the coming weeks.

“When a chance like that I knew I wanted to take it and see it go in the back of the net. Hopefully I can get underway and get a few more goals now,” Keane told the club’s website.

Wednesday take on Ipswich Town in their next game tomorrow night.

Scannell admires Huddersfield spirit

Huddersfield Town winger Sean Scannell has praised the spirit and fight of the team after the win against Millwall over the weekend.

Huddersfield secured a 3-1 win despite playing part of the match with only ten men.

“To get a win here with 11 men is good, so to do it with 10 is brilliant,” he told the Huddersfield Examiner.

Huddersfield climbed up to 14th in the table following the victory.
