England youth international Dele Alli continued his impressive season, scoring his 13th goal of the season last night.
The midfielder netted for MK Dons in a 2-1 away loss in League One against Chelsea's FA Cup conquerors Bradford City.
It was a week since the 18-year-old clinched a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, and it was his second game since the switch. Playing in an attacking midfield role, Alli made an impact by giving his side the lead away to the Bantams.
Put through on goal, he finished clinically by sliding the ball through the onrushing goalkeeper's legs.
His strike was not enough to give his side the three points, with Billy Clarke and James Hanson securing a comeback victory for the hosts.
Alli now has a strike rate of almost exactly one in two, having netted 13 goals in 29 League One games this season. No midfielder has netted more goals in League One.
His goal was all the more impressive considering the woeful state of the Valley Parade pitch, although missing out on the victory will leave a sour taste of his visit to the stadium.
MK Dons still sit third in the table, but this was a game in hand on the sides above them, which would have taken them into first with a win.
The game was televised live on SkySports, giving Tottenham fans an easily accessible look at the player who could become the heart of their midfield.
Here is a look at the reaction from supporters to his display...
