Predicted Nottingham Forest XI to play Wigan Athletic: Same side for Freedman?

Match to be played on Wednesday 11th February 2015 at 19:45. Venue: City Ground, Nottingham.

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman will be determined for his team to cash in on an important win in the game against Brighton over the weekend.

The victory is likely to have given the side plenty of confidence heading into the match against Wigan this Wednesday.

The win should have given the side some momentum, which will make things easier for Freedman in training this week.

Hopefully the team now put on a good show in front of their own fans and cash in against the Championship strugglers.

Forest are at the bottom of the first half of the league table and still have an outside chance of getting into the play-offs by the end of the campaign.

The side have scored more goals than the four sides directly above them in the table and they need to use that to their advantage against a team, which is likely to be defending with a very dogged mentality near the bottom of the table.

Here’s the side Freedman could go with.

Nottingham Forest: Darlow, Lichaj, Hobbs, Collins, Fox, Burke, Gardner, Lansbury, Osborn, Antonio, Assombalonga
