Two changes for Blues: Predicted Manchester City line-up to play Stoke

Stoke Britannia Stadium

Match between Manchester City and Stoke City to be played on Wednesday 11th February 2015 at 19:45. Venue: Britannia Stadium, Stoke.

Manchester City take on Stoke City this week with Manuel Pellegrini’s side looking to turn their poor recent form around.

The current Premier League champions are without a win in their last four league matches and things could have been worse for them last weekend if James Milner had not popped up with a late equaliser against Hull City.

As it is, City are second in the Premier League but a full seven points behind Chelsea and at this point there seems little chance of the Blues catching Jose Mourinho’s men.

In early team news, Yaya Toure and recent signing Wilfried Bony are unavailable for City due to their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations but aside from that Pellegrini has a full squad to choose from.

City have a Champions League encounter with Barcelona on the horizon but they will not want to fall further behind, knowing as they do that title races can change swiftly.

Here is the side we predict City will start with against Stoke:

Predicted Manchester City starting line-up: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Nasri, Navas, Fernandinho, Milner, Silva, Aguero
