Arsenal do not have to wait long to get the North London derby defeat out of their system, as Arsene Wenger’s side host Leicester City on Tuesday evening.
The Foxes are currently bottom of the Premier League with just 17 points from 24 matches but Arsenal will not take them lightly.
The Gunners saw Tottenham climb above them in the table on Saturday but it could be as-you-were if Arsenal win and Spurs lose to Liverpool on the same night.
That remains to be seen, but Arsenal’s players will be fully focused on the job in hand and they were put through their paces ahead of Tuesday’s encounter in a training session.
The Chilean international has been side-lined for the last two matches but he is back in contention for Tuesday’s encounter.
Considering his impact at the club thus far – which includes 18 goals and nine assists in 32 appearances – his return will be welcomed by all…except Leicester of course!
