Michael Owen has backed Arsenal to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Tuesday in his Betvictor.com column.
Arsenal took the lead against their bitter rivals through Mesut Ozil in the 11th minute, but they failed to cope with Spurs’ attacks in the second half and conceded twice to lose the Premier League contest 2-1.
Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Owen, though, believes that Arsene Wenger’s side will bounce back against struggling Leicester on Tuesday.
“I was as disappointed with Arsenal as impressed with Spurs in the North London Derby at the Lane on Saturday, but expect to see the Gunners bounce back against a Foxes side who currently sit at the foot of the Premier League table and have failed to beat Arsenal in their last 18 games in all competitions,” the 35-year-old wrote on Betvictor.com.
Will Michael Owen be proved wrong?
Arsenal will indeed head into Tuesday’s game as favourites, especially as they are strong at home and the Foxes are struggling for points.
Wenger’s team have been in good form in 2015, and one suspects that they will be keen on bouncing back from the defeat to Spurs.
The Gunners have looked strong in defence and have one of the best attacking departments in the Premier League.
Leicester will be huge underdogs against Arsenal, but if they get an early goal, then things could become tricky for the North London outfit.
