Tottenham Hotspur-owned Aaron Lennon made his debut for Everton on Saturday when he came on as a substitute in the Merseyside outfit.
The 27-year-old winger had joined the Toffees on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on transfer deadline day, and the clash against Liverpool at Goodison Park was his first for his new team.
Lennon did not start the Premier League encounter and came on as a substitute for Kevin Mirallas on the hour mark.
The former Leeds United star, though, struggled to make a huge impact on the game and did not look exactly great.
Lennon was relatively uninvolved in the match and failed to create a single chance for his teammates, while having a pass accuracy of 79%.
The England international took one shot, but it went wide of the mark, as the Merseyside derby eventually ended in a goalless draw.
Following the game, Everton and Tottenham fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Lennon’s performance against Liverpool.
