Nathan Oduwa joined Luton Town on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window for the rest of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur-owned Nathan Oduwa has taken to social networking site Twitter to hail the support of the Luton Town fans.

The youngster joined the League Two outfit in the January transfer window on loan from Spurs for the rest of the season.

The teenager, who is capable of playing on the left flank and through the middle, made his debut for Luton against Oxford United away from home in League Two on Saturday.

Luton took the lead at the Kassam Stadium in the 36th minute when Jayden Stockley diverted Shaun Whalley's low miss-hit shot past goalkeeper Ryan Clarke.

Oxford restored parity in the 43rd minute through John Mullins, as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Oduwa, who came on as a substitute just before the hour mark, was delighted to have made his debut for his loan club and was impressed with the support of the Luton fans.

The 1-1 draw with Oxford leaves Luton fourth in the League Two table with 51 points from 28 matches, just four points behind third-placed Shrewsbury Town but with a game in hand.
