Michael Owen has been singing the praises of Tottenham Hotspur on Sportlobster.com.
Tottenham continued their impressive run of form on Saturday when they got the better of Arsenal at White Hart Kane in the North London derby.
Germany international playmaker Mesut Ozil put the Gunners ahead in the Premier League clash after just 11 minutes, but Tottenham hit back with two goals in the second half.
Harry Kane scored both of them to help Spurs win the encounter 2-1 and continue to push for a top-four finish in the league this season.
Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Owen was impressed with the display of Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and highlighted three main aspects of their game.
“Really impressed with Spurs today,” the 35-year-old wrote on Betvictor.com on Saturday. “Relentless in their pressing, high energy, good passing. Deserved their win.”
Tottenham have been playing a high-pressing game since the start of the season under Pochettino, and continued to do so against attack-minded Arsenal.
It is not always easy to overpower and outpass Arsene Wenger’s side, who have been playing the best and most entertaining football in the Premier League for over a decade.
Fitness is also another area where Pochettino has been focusing throughout the campaign, and the players are now in a great position to push on for the final months of the season.
