Memphis Depay reminds Tottenham of ability with impressive brace

The Netherlands international bagged two goals for PSV Eindhoven yesterday in the 3-1 victory over Utrecht.

Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for PSV Eindhoven sensation Memphis Depay, with the North Londoners mentioned as potential suitors both recently and last summer.

The Netherlands international reminded the White Hart Lane side just how good he is by netting a brace against Utrecht yesterday in his side’s 3-1 victory.

The 20-year-old scored his team’s second and third goals, as can be seen below, securing a PSV win.

The strikes take Depay to 15 Eredivisie goals in 18 games, with the youngster one of the brightest prospects in Dutch football currently.

With PSV now 15 points clear at the top of the division, the Philips Stadion outfit club are expected to be raided for their best players this summer.

Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Depay, but the 20-year-old would surely be an exhilarating signing for Spurs as they look to play regular Champions League football.
