Newcastle United will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League today when they take on Stoke City at home.

The Magpies will head into the clash at St. James’ Park on the back of a 3-0 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium.

It was one of the Magpies’ best performances so far this season and was also John Carver’s first victory in charge of Newcastle.

Newcastle are currently 11th in the Premier League table with 30 points from 23 matches, 10 points above the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, visiting Stoke find themselves in 10th position in the standings with 32 points and are looking to push further up the standings.

The Potters will head in this afternoon’s game on the back of a 3-1 home victory over Queens Park Rangers and have won their last three matches in all competitions.
