Despite the defeat to Aston Villa the Dane was pleased to be on the scoresheet.
Yesterday was an important day for Aston Villa in the league, even if they did not come away with anything from their fixture with Premier League leaders Chelsea at Villa Park.
They pushed hard for a win against The Blues, but perhaps most importantly of all - they scored.
Villa had not found the back of the net in the league since the 20th December. That had seen them slip dangerously close to the relegation zone and yesterday that trend continued, with goals from Eden Hazard and Branislav Ivanovic proving the difference.
The goalscorer for Villa however was certainly not the first man you would have expected to end their drought.
Not Christian Benteke, Gabriel Agbonlahor or Andreas Weimann - but Jores Okore. It was the Danes first goal for the club since arriving from FC Nordsjaelland in 2013.
The 22-year-old has now taken to Twitter to discuss the goal to his followers. He admits he is happy with the win, but remains upset that they could not gain anything from an impressive performance.
