The Arsenal loanee turns 23-years-old tomorrow as West Ham take on Manchester United.

West Ham United take on Manchester United in the Premier League tomorrow afternoon. The Hammers have had a good season but they are hoping for an improved performance on the poor display against Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend.

They currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League and in a home tie at Upton Park there is no doubt they will fancy their chances against Louis van Gaal’s men.

One man who is undoubtedly looking forward to the game, and hoping for victory, is West Ham co-chairman David Gold.

One of the few club officials who takes an active interest in his club on Twitter, he has Tweeted a message hoping to inspire his players to a Premier League upset. He also gives a good reason as to why he hopes that they can win the game, because it will make a perfect birthday gift for West Ham right-back Carl Jenkinson.

The England international arrived at the club on loan from Arsenal in the summer, after the Gunners snapped up Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers who play in his position.

He has been in excellent form for the club and turns 23 tomorrow. Gold is hoping that a Manchester United scalp can be unwrapped in the East End.
