The Spanish defender is not impressed with the midfielder's shoes.
Everton and Liverpool face off at Goodison Park this evening in the Merseyside Derby. The two teams have had mixed seasons so far and earlier in the campaign a late wonder strike from Phil Jagielka claimed a share of the spoils for The Toffees at Anfield.
But while this big derby game should be the focus of all the Liverpool players this weekend, one man has been sidetracked by the fashion choices of a team-mate.
Adam Lallana arrived at the club from Southampton in the summer, along with former Saints team-mates Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren.
But while he has brought with him his technical prowess and hard working attitude, he has also brought a pretty poor choice in footwear with him as well.
His team-mate Jose Enrique posted this on Instagram earlier today, where he cannot believe the standard of Lallana’s, lets say, unusual choice of brown footwear that look like they came straight from the charity shop. That or he did a Simon from The Inbetweeners and borrowed them from a homeless man.
Yep, whilst footballers arrive wearing the most modern and trend setting trainers on the market, or for those less extravagant stars, a simple desert boot, Lallana’s choice has certainly caused a stir.
