Tottenham Hotspur secured a dream north London derby win against their fierce rivals on Saturday afternoon.
With so many central midfielders at Spurs, a real competition for places has built up in the middle.
Against Arsenal, though, Nabil Bentaleb's performance may just have ended that competition. Reminding Tottenham just what they were missing while he was at the African Cup of Nations with Algeria, the 20-year-old absolutely shone against the Gunners, creating Harry Kane's winning goal to top it off.
It's lucky for Mousa Dembele he has been moved up to the no.10 slot, as he couldn't oust Bentaleb from Spurs' midfield at present. Benjamin Stambouli, meanwhile, looks set to be the biggest loser.
For Arsenal's opener, the left-back was embarrassing. And Danny Rose is continuing to struggle in a defensive capacity.
Going forward, however, the Tottenham man was immense - just as he was against Chelsea. In so doing, Rose proved he can consistently deliver in the big games. And Mauricio Pochettino's faith in him was justified against Arsenal.
It would be remiss to leave out the 21-year-old star he is looking world class right now.
The Tottenham striker showed no hesitation in scoring against an Arsenal side he once turned out for as a young child - not once but twice. And with such clinical finishes, no less...
