A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United take on Brentford later today as Neil Redfearn’s side look to make it five matches unbeaten and stretch their winning streak to three games.

Victories against Bournemouth and Huddersfield have ensured renewed confidence at Elland Road but there is still plenty of work to do in the weeks and months ahead.

Leeds are currently 19th in the Championship while today’s opponents Brentford are fifth.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Leeds could give a debut to on-loan striker Edgar Cani, while Sol Bamba is tipped to keep his place ahead of the suspended Giuseppe Bellusci.

Alan McCormack is available for the visitors and Jack O’Connell is being tipped to get a debut following his deadline day move.

In other news, the Yorkshire Evening Post has an interview with former Leeds player Tommy Wright.

Now working at Oldham Athletic, Wright looks back at his time at Elland Road with great fondness.

“Playing for a club like Leeds, you don’t realise what a special club it is until you leave,” he said, while adding that Redfearn has some great young players at his disposal and all they need is time.
