Ledley King was overjoyed to see his former club Tottenham Hotspur get the better of Arsenal in the North London derby on Saturday.
Tottenham came from a goal down to defeat the Gunners 2-1 at White Hart Lane in the Premier League encounter.
Mesut Ozil put Arsenal ahead as early as the 11th minute, but Spurs’ star striker Harry Kane scored twice in the second half to help the hosts to all three points.
King was understandably delighted with Tottenham’s comeback victory and hailed the performance of the 21-year-old performance on social networking site Twitter.
Kane was once again influential for Tottenham, scoring both goals in the comeback win.
The first goal was from close range at the back post following Mousa Dembele's flick from a corner, while the second came in the 86th minute from a headed effort.
The 21-year-old’s overall game was also impressive. The England international took four shots, created one chance and attempted three dribbles, although his pass accuracy of only 67%.
