Ian Wright predicts how Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal will end

Theo Walcott

Arsenal are 1-0 up against Tottenham Hotspur at half time in the North London derby at White Hart Lane.

Ian Wright has predicted Theo Walcott to score the winning goal in the North London derby.

England international forward Walcott is currently on the substitutes’ bench, as Arsenal lead fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at White Hart Lane in the Premier League encounter.

The Gunners went ahead as early as the 11th minute when Germany international playmaker Mesut Ozil scored a wonderful goal with a deft touch.

Tottenham have had chances in the rest of the second half and have pressed on for the equaliser, but they are still trailing.

Arsenal legend Wright is understandably rooting for a win for Arsene Wenger’s side, and he believes that Walcott will ‘finish off’ Tottenham.

The 51-year-old former England international striker made the comment before kickoff on social networking site Twitter.

As things stand, Wright’s prediction could come true. If Tottenham score the equaliser in the second half, then Wenger could be tempted to bring on Walcott, who will be a menace to the Spurs defenders with his pace and could score the winning goal in the North London derby.
