The former Tottenham striker reckons Kane would walk into the Arsenal starting XI.
The North London derby certainly lived up to expectations earlier today as Tottenham Hotspur won an exciting encounter against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
Once again there was no doubting who the hero was for Spurs. Their striker Harry Kane simply cannot stop scoring at the moment. He bagged his 21st and 22nd goals for the club this season in the second half of the game to take Tottenham to an impressive victory.
His performances have won plenty of plaudits this season, with Gary Lineker one of the men impressed by his performances this term.
Lineker himself used to bag goals galore for Tottenham Hotspur. He scored 80 goals for Spurs in a three-year spell at White Hart Lane.
He was on Twitter once again this evening, getting involved in the debate around the player, including something of a dig at Arsenal.
He was responding to a little bit of a ding-dong between celebrity Arsenal and Tottenham fans Piers Morgan and Alan Sugar respectively.
Here is the exchange in question, where Lineker joked that Kane would be starting for Arsenal if he played for The Gunners:
Based on his current form there is little doubt that if Kane were a Gunner, he would be leading the line.
