Confirmed: Man City v Hull City lineups

Manchester City Etihad 2

Here is how Manchester City and Hull City will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Manchester City welcome Hull City to the Etihad Stadium this weekend with Manuel Pellegrini’s side keen to take advantage of any slip from league leaders Chelsea in the weeks ahead.

Five points currently separate the top two in the league, while Hull are hoping to climb out of the relegation zone.

Steve Bruce’s side were many people’s top for this season’s surprise package after some headline-worthy transfer business back in the summer, but they have picked up just 19 points from their first 23 matches and it would take an almighty effort to beat City in their own backyard.

The Blues have never lost a home league match against the Tigers but Pellegrini’s side are without a win in their last three matches so this could be as good a time as any for Hull to give it a go.

Yet to lead at half-time, now would be a great time for the Tigers to start.
