Brighton & Hove Albion 2-3 Nottingham Forest: Visitors return to winning ways

Nottingham Forest have returned to winning ways in the Championship with victory over Brighton & Hove Albion away from home.

In what was Dougie Freedman’s first game in charge of Forest as manager, the visitors registered a 3-2 victory to stop the rot.

The game at The Amex proved to be very entertaining and topsy-turvy.

Lewis Dunk put the Seagulls ahead on 42 minutes when he headed home Danny Holla’s delivery.

However, Danny Collins restored parity for Forest just moments later when he nodded in Ben Osborn’s delivery.

The Nottingham-based outfit took the lead on 63 minutes through Henri Lansbury, who slotted home from close range.

Forest went 3-1 up on 86 minutes when Ben Osborn scored, although Beram Kayal’s goal in the 90th minute did make it nervy for the visitors towards the end.

The result means that Forest remain 12th in the Championship table with 37 points from 29 matches, while Brighton are just two points above the relegation zone.
